DFB-Pokal last-16 draw: Bayern, Dortmund handed tough away assignments || Media Pillow Sports

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund were handed away fixtures against Bundesliga opponents in Sunday's German Cup last-16 draw.

Bayern Munich, the record 20-time winners, will travel to Mainz while five-time winners Dortmund face local rivals Bochum.

The draw threw up two other all top-flight ties, with Bundesliga leaders Union Berlin welcoming Wolfsburg to the capital and cup holders RB Leipzig hosting Hoffenheim.

In the other fixtures, second-tier Paderborn host Stuttgart, Nuremberg play Fortuna Dusseldorf, Sandhausen host last season's beaten finalists Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt face rivals Darmstadt, who currently sit top of the second division.

The ties are set to take place in January and February next year, having been moved from the customary December slot due to the World Cup in Qatar.
