Just In: Chicago Bulls Guard, Lonzo Ball Might Miss Several Months After Knee Surgery.

Chicago Bulls guard,  Lonzo Ball is expected to miss several months after going through another knee surgery, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Doctors reportedly believe they've attended the knee issue that's been disturbing Ball since the beginning of January, and he should be able to come back at some point this season.

On the dusk of the procedure, Ball talked about the discomfort he was experiencing both on and off the court. The Bulls guard hasn't been able to run or jump, and even everyday activities like going up stairs have been "very painful."

Ball was bounded to 35 appearances in his first year with Chicago, averaging 13 points, 5.4 boards, 5.1 assists, and 1.8 steals. He's entering the second season of a four-year, $80-million contract.

Ayo Dosumu and veteran Goran Dragic are expected to split minutes at the point during Ball's non-appearance.
