Robert Lewandowski is set to join Barcelona on a three-year contract this weekend after Bayern Munichaccepted the Spanish club's proposal Friday, according to The Guardian's Fabrizio Romano.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta confirmed last week that an offer had been submitted for Lewandowski.Bayern's reported valuation for the wantaway 33-year-old - who has one year left on his deal at the Allianz Arena - was around €40 million.
"Something went out inside me (at Bayern), and it's something you can't recover," Lewandowski saidin June.
Barcelona have already signed Raphinha, Franck Kessie, and Andreas Christensen this summer despite their well-known financial issues. In addition to Raphinha, Lewandowski will team up with fellow attackers Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, Ousmane Dembele, Memphis Depay, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Martin Braithwaite in Catalonia.
Lewandowski has scored 344 times in 374 games for Bayern since arriving from Dortmund in 2014. The Bavarian outfit has already signed Sadio Mane from Liverpool for a reported initial €32-million fee this close season.
