Real Sociedad Has Finally Signed Nigerian Forward, Umar Sadiq For €20M From UD Almeria.

Sadiq transferred to Real Sociedad from Almeria on Thursday. He's signed a six-year contract with the Txuri-Urdin.

Sadiq is quite the find after losing Alexander Isak with just a week left in the transfer window. As Sadiq has been on the market for much of the summer, a deal makes sense for both parties to reinforce the attacking depth for one and the accounting balance for the other. 

On the subject of Sadiq's potential he's already scored two goals in three games and joins a team that's tailored to run its attack into a focal point at the top. Even with Alexander Sorloth's recent return, Sadiq figures to immediately slot into the starting lineup across all competitions.
